Diabetes Charity Institute of Isfahan
Education is the Foundation of Treatment
The Diabetes Charity Institute of Isfahan is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people living with diabetes through education, awareness, social support, and charitable assistance.
For more than 25 years, we have been working alongside people with diabetes and their families, with a particular focus on individuals and families who face financial and social challenges in accessing appropriate diabetes care and education.
Our work is based on a simple but powerful belief:
“Education is the foundation of treatment.”
We believe that people living with diabetes should have access to reliable, understandable, and evidence-based information that enables them to better understand their condition, make informed decisions, and actively participate in their own care.
Our Mission
Our mission is to improve the quality of life of people living with diabetes by making diabetes education, awareness, self-care support, and charitable assistance more accessible.
We work to:
Promote evidence-based diabetes education
Encourage effective diabetes self-care
Support people with diabetes and their families
Help disadvantaged patients facing financial difficulties
Increase public awareness about diabetes prevention and management
Provide accessible educational resources in the Persian language
Promote collaboration and knowledge exchange within the diabetes community
Support initiatives that can contribute to a better quality of life for people with diabetes
More Than 25 Years of Commitment
For more than two decades, the Diabetes Charity Institute of Isfahan has remained committed to working in the field of diabetes.
During this time, our activities have included educational programs, awareness initiatives, patient support, screening activities, social assistance, and efforts to improve access to diabetes-related knowledge and care.
Our journey has been shaped by the experiences of thousands of people with diabetes and their families.
Their needs, challenges, and experiences continue to guide our work.
An Independent Charitable Organization
The Diabetes Charity Institute of Isfahan is a non-profit charitable organization.
Registration No.: 976
For more than 25 years, our organization has operated without receiving funding from governmental or state institutions.
Our charitable activities depend on the support and generosity of individuals, donors, volunteers, and people who believe in improving the lives of those affected by diabetes.
This independence is an important part of our identity and allows us to focus our efforts on our core mission: serving people living with diabetes and those who need support the most.
Education at the Heart of Our Work
Diabetes is not managed only in hospitals and clinics.
A large part of diabetes management takes place every day — at home, at work, at school, and in everyday life.
For this reason, we believe that education should be an essential part of diabetes care.
Our educational activities focus on practical knowledge that can help people with diabetes better understand areas such as:
Diabetes and prediabetes
Blood glucose monitoring
Nutrition and healthy eating
Physical activity
Insulin injection techniques
Diabetes medications
Foot care
Diabetes technology
Continuous glucose monitoring (CGM)
Insulin pumps
Diabetes self-care
Psychological and social aspects of living with diabetes
Our goal is not simply to provide information, but to make reliable knowledge understandable, practical, and useful in everyday life.
Supporting People in Need
Financial difficulties can create additional challenges for people living with diabetes.
The cost of medications, monitoring equipment, medical services, transportation, and other aspects of diabetes care can become a significant burden for disadvantaged individuals and families.
Through our charitable activities, we seek to support people who are experiencing financial hardship and help reduce some of the barriers they face in managing their diabetes.
We believe that financial circumstances should not prevent a person from receiving the knowledge and support they need to care for their health.
Our Educational Platform
As part of our ongoing development, we are building a Persian-language diabetes education platform designed to make trustworthy diabetes information more accessible.
The platform is intended to bring together:
Education • Self-Care • Tools • News • Frequently Asked Questions • Reports • Social Support
Our aim is to create a reliable educational resource for:
People living with diabetes
Families and caregivers
Healthcare professionals
Students and researchers
The wider community
Educational materials will be developed with an emphasis on scientific accuracy, clarity, and practical usefulness.
Transparency and Accountability
As a charitable organization, we believe that transparency is an important responsibility toward our supporters and the people we serve.
We aim to provide information about our activities and charitable work through reports covering areas such as:
Financial activities
Patient assistance
Educational programs
Screening and awareness activities
Campaigns and events
Social support activities
We believe that transparency strengthens trust and allows our supporters to see how their contributions help our mission.
Our Vision
We envision a future in which every person living with diabetes has access to reliable knowledge, appropriate support, and the opportunity to actively participate in managing their health.
We hope to develop the Diabetes Charity Institute of Isfahan into a trusted center for diabetes education, charitable support, knowledge sharing, and community engagement.
Our long-term vision extends beyond providing services.
We want to help build a community in which knowledge empowers people with diabetes, compassion supports those in need, and collaboration creates better opportunities for everyone affected by diabetes.
